Inquiry :

Symbol/Gene Name:  SAR1A

Alias:  GTP-binding protein SAR1a,COPII-associated small GTPase

Uniprot: Q9NR31

Background: Involved in transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus (By similarity). Required to maintain SEC16A localization at discrete locations on the ER membrane perhaps by preventing its dissociation. SAR1A-GTP-dependent assembly of SEC16A on the ER membrane forms an organized scaffold defining endoplasmic reticulum exit sites (ERES).

Construct: GG-SAR1A(M1-D198 end)

Expression Host: E. coli

Purity: 90%

Formulation: 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH7.5), 200 mM NaCl, 20% glycerol

Supplied as sterile

Shipping:

Liquid. It is shipped out with blue ice.

Stability & Storage:

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20 to -80

Store it under sterile conditions at -20 to -80. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
